    1. Services

    Cobham Electrical Contractors provides domestic and commercial electrical services across Cobham, Surrey, and surrounding areas. All work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 (the IET Wiring Regulations) and relevant UK building regulations. Company Number: 17136520. Registered address: 32 Between Sts, Cobham, Surrey, KT11 1AF.

    2. Quotations

    All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices quoted are inclusive of labour, materials, and VAT where applicable. Any additional work discovered during the project that falls outside the original scope will be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.

    3. Payment Terms

    Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. For larger projects, staged payments may be agreed before work commences. We accept bank transfer, cash, and major debit/credit cards.

    4. Workmanship Guarantee

    All work carried out by Cobham Electrical Contractors is guaranteed against defects in workmanship. If any issue arises as a result of our work, we will return to rectify it at no additional cost. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by third parties, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

    5. Certification

    All notifiable electrical work is tested to BS 7671 standards and certified accordingly. Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) and Minor Works Certificates are provided for relevant work. As a NAPIT-registered contractor, notifiable work is self-certified and Building Control is notified on your behalf.

    6. Access and Preparation

    The client is responsible for providing clear access to the work area. Where furniture or belongings need to be moved prior to commencement, we will advise in advance. We take all reasonable steps to protect your property during work, including the use of dust sheets and protective coverings.

    7. Cancellation

    If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover lost scheduling time.

    8. Insurance

    Cobham Electrical Contractors holds comprehensive public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. Copies of our insurance certificates are available on request.

    9. Complaints

    We strive to deliver excellent service on every job. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our work, please contact us at cobhamelectricalcontractors@outlook.com or call 07935 839378. We will investigate and respond within 5 working days.

    10. Governing Law

    These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
